Overview
Walkr is a walking app that generates roundtrip routes based on your step goal. We collect the minimum data needed to make the app work. We do not sell your data.
Data We Collect
- Location — used in-session to generate a walking route from your current position and track your walk. Not stored on our servers.
- Motion & step data — your step count during a walk, used to show walk progress and summary. Stored on your device only.
- Account info — email address, used to create and authenticate your Walkr account.
- Body measurements — height (entered by you during onboarding), used to estimate stride length for step distance calculations. Stored on your device only.
Third-Party Services
- OpenRouteService — your current location is sent to OpenRouteService to generate walking routes. Their privacy policy is available at openrouteservice.org.
- Supabase — your account (email and authentication tokens) is stored securely via Supabase. Their privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your location history.
- We do not run ads.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Data Retention
Your account data is retained until you delete your account. Walk history and body measurements are stored locally on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app.
Your Rights
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. This removes your email and authentication data from our servers.
